uni + form = uniform one style of clothing that everybody wears Students at our school must wear a uniform.
bi + cycle = bicycle a two wheeled cycle My bicycle was stolen!  
bi + monthly = bimonthly two times a month I have a bimonthly meeting.
tri + cycle = tricycle a three wheeled cycle My little brother rides a tricycle.  
tri + angle = triangle a three sided figure We studied triangles in math class.
quad + ruplets = quadruplets four babies born at the same time The woman had quadruplets!
pent + agon = pentagon a five sided figure The Pentagon is a famous building in Washington D.C.
quint + tuplets = quintuplets five babies born at the same time The woman had quintuplets!
hex + agon = hexagon a six sided figure We studied hexagons in math class.
sept + tuplets = septuplets seven babies born at the same time The woman had septuplets.
oct + agon = octagon an eight sided figure We studied octagons in math class.  
oct + opus = octopus a sea animal with eight 'arms' We saw an octopus in the ocean.  It was ugly!
deca + de = decade a ten year period I grew up in the 1980's, the decade of great music!
