a + typical = atypical not typical, different His behavior was atypical.  Usually he is a nice person.  
a + moral = amoral not moral or without morals The terrorists actions were amoral.  Many innocent people were killed.
in + correct = incorrect not correct I got 5 incorrect answers out of 100.  That's 95%.  
im + possible = impossible not possible, can't be done It is impossible to turn rocks into diamonds.  
ir + reversible = irreversible cannot be changed Once the bullet is fired it can't go back into the gun.  It is irreversible.
un + do = undo to do something that reverses what was done My shoelace is in a knot.  I need to undo it!  
un + able = unable not able to do something Svetlana was unable to come to the meeting.  She had a doctor's appointment.
de + bug = debug to take away or get rid of problems We need to debug the computer program.  It is not working correctly.  
de + frost = defrost to get rid or take away ice that forms on something. Please defrost the freezer.  There is too much ice on the sides.
*  Use il- before words that begin with the letter L   for example  illicit, illegal
Use im- before words that begin with B, M or P  for example impossible
Use ir- before words that begin with R  for example irregular, irresponsible
