sub + way = subway a train system that is under  ground The subway in London is called "The Tube."  
sub + marine = submarine ship that goes under the water Submarines are part of the navy.
super + man = Superman a man that is stronger than all others Superman is a famous comic book hero.  
super + bowl = Superbowl most  famous football game in the U.S.. The Superbowl is played in January or early February. 
out + do = outdo to do something better than someone else Ricardo can usually outdo Pavel in spelling tests!  
out + run = outrun to move faster or farther than someone else A hare can usually outrun a tortoise.
over + eat = overeat to eat too much The food is so good in the cafeteria, that sometimes I overeat.  
over + slept = overslept to sleep more than normal or too much Maya overslept this morning.  She missed her test.
ultra + expensive = ultra- expensive extremely expensive The diamond ring was ultra-expensive.   
ultra + violet = ultraviolet light waves that are beyond human sight. Be careful!  Ultraviolet light can damage your skin!
under + paid = underpaid to be paid to little for the work they do. Many teachers think they are underpaid.  
under + developed = underdeveloped not developed enough Some countries in Africa are underdeveloped.
